It is the first protected natural area located in San Salvador’s metropolitan area, specifically in the forest reserve El Espino, in the Valley of the Hammocks, of the volcanic chain of the Pacific slope of northern Central America.
Located on Avenida Jerusalem, it belongs to the municipalities of San Salvador and Antiguo Cuscatlán.
It has three entrances, a pedestrian, located at the end of Calle La Mascota, and two driveways on Avenida Jerusalem (from North to South) and at the end of Calle La Mascota.
